Outpatient Eating Disorder Registered Dietitian Nutritionist

Simplicity Nutrition is a private nutrition practice group with offices in Snoqualmie, Seattle and telehealth. Our team is seeking to employ a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with the ability to work in person in our Snoqualmie office. We will not consider applications with less than 3 years of experience as an RDN. You must also have extensive experience working with adolescent and adult eating disorders. This applicant must have knowledge and be in line with the HAES, fat liberation, and radical body acceptance movement, as well as Intuitive Eating.   • Provide outpatient, one-on-one, individualized nutrition counseling for clients transitioning from residential, PHP, and IOP eating disorder programs
  • Provide outpatient, one-on-one, individualized nutrition counseling for pediatric, adolescent and adult eating disorder clients in our Snoqualmie location, with the flexibility to go to Seattle
  • Provide outpatient one-on-one individualized nutrition counseling and nutrition education for parents of pediatric and adolescent clients
  • Ability to work with Anorexia, Bulimia, BED, Orthorexia, Diabulimia, Purging, ARFID, OSFED, as well as general disordered eating and relationship to food and body
  • Coordinate care with referring facilities and practitioners for a smooth transition into our clinic
  • Identify and refer appropriately to outside providers (such as psychiatrists or therapists) or higher level of care when needed
  • Collaborate with Simplicity Nutrition colleagues for additional support relating to case management
  • Engage in Exposure Response Prevention with clients when appropriate
  • Follow Simplicity Nutrition charting protocol:
    • Accurate and thorough assessment/evaluation using Simplicity Nutrition’s intake forms and EMR charting system, following the Subjective, Objective, Assessment, and Plan format
    • Develop and clearly communicate personalized clinical plans, meal plans, programs and interventions to meet clients’ specific nutritional needs, goals and food preferences
    • Execute these plans and know when they are appropriate, or when a change is necessary
  • Maintain organized electronic client records in accordance with Simplicity Nutrition policies and procedures and requirements of the State of Washington
  • Practice Impeccable Communication skills
  • Attend weekly all staff meetings to discuss specific nutrition and administrative topics, case studies, etc
  • Attend weekly meetings with your clinical supervisor
  • Practice safe COVID policies in office, as mandated by the CDC and Washington State Department of Health Guidelines
  • Create informative and engaging educational handouts to meet client needs
  • Other duties, as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Intuitive eating certification or willingness to acquire within 1 year of start date
  • Additional Eating disorder training (ie. Marci Evans, Body Trust, etc)
  • Fat liberation/size diversity training through ASDAH or similar organization
  • At least 3 years experience working as an RDN
  • Experience teaching classes in a group setting


  • Health Insurance, Eye and Dental when hours are equal to 30 hours per week
  • $1000 towards continuing education per year, when hours are equal to 30 hours per week
  • Yearly bonus that is equal to 3% of net pay for client hours, when hours are equal to to 30 hours per week
  • Selected paid holidays when hours are equal to 30 hours per week


  • Starts at $40+/client hour depending on experience

Schedule Needs:

  • Ability to see clients In person in Snoqualmie 2-3 days a week to begin. This may grow to up to 4 days a week (32 hours)
  • Evening availability preferred
  • Ability to provide Telehealth appointments as an option. However, it is mandatory for this position that you are able to work 2-3 days in person in the Snoqualmie location
